Lodging
We have five awesome host hotels who love our Pistol runners and are willing to offer great room discounts. Please let them serve you. Be sure to thank them!

 

NOTE: If you are willing to prepay, you may be able to forego the host hotel group block reservations below and get a slightly cheaper non-refundable rate via other reservation methods at the same hotels. However, you will not be a part of the Pistol group and you may not be able to cancel your reservation without penalty, should Murphy make it impossible for you to come. You will also not get the perks exclusively for our Pistolers (such as late checkout pending availability…ask at check-in) for those who have reserved rooms in our group blocks. It also really helps us when runners reserve as part of our group block at the host hotels, since some of our supporting partners base their support heavily on these verifiable statistics. Thank you for helping support the event we all love by booking in our group blocks.

Connected by a covered walkway to the Knoxville McGee-Tyson Airport (TYS).  It is about 2 miles from the race start/finish line. (The front desk can also arrange for a taxi, if needed.)

It is right across Alcoa Hwy. (US #129) from the Knoxville McGee-Tyson Airport (TYS), and is about 2 miles from the race start/finish line. (The front desk can also arrange for a taxi, if needed.)

Camping/RVs

There are campgrounds in Townsend (about 10 miles away). Overnight camping is not available onsite.

Restaurants
There are numerous chain restaurants within 2 miles: Olive Garden, Chili’s, Cheddars, Five Guys Burgers, Panera Bread, Salsarita’s, Ruby Tuesday’s, Subway, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, Applebee’s, Starbucks, Cracker Barrel, McAlister’s Deli, Five Guys Burgers, Texas Roadhouse, O'Charleys, etc. Also many, many local restaurants. There is no shortage of selection very close by!
